Grassholme Reservoir was completed in 1915, covers 140 acres & is 120ft deep. It was opened to the public in 1993.

Part of this walk follows a section of The Pennine Way, a 404km (251 miles) linear footpath connecting Edale in Derbyshire, England with Kirk Yetholm in The Borders, Scotland.
