Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
Gavin Maxwell (1915 -1969) was a Scottish naturalist & author, best known for his non-fiction writing & his work with otters. He wrote the book 'Ring of Bright Water' about how he brought an otter back from Iraq and raised it in Scotland. It was made into a film in 1969.Spoiler alert:Bring tissues, it doesn't end well for the otter.
