Stob a' Choire Odhair (Black Mount) is classified as a Munro (No. 225) and a Scottish Marilyn (167th highest in Scotland, 173rd highest in the UK). Stob a' Choire Odhair (Black Mount) is also known as a Murdo (337th highest in Scotland). Stob a' Choire Odhair (Black Mount) means 'Peak of the Dun Coloured Corrie' and is pronounced 'stop a-corrie oo-er'.
