Route outline for walk ab105:
Strath of Orchy - Kilchurn Castle - Loch Awe - River Orchy - Strath of Orchy
Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
The four-storey main keep of Kilchurn Castle was built between 1440 and 1460 by Sir Colin Campbell, 1st of Glenorchy and much enlarged in 1693. Whilst you can ascend one of the turrets on the Loch Awe side the best views are from the top of the main keep (accessed via a modern wooden staircase).
