I am a Male Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Pershore, Worcestershire

My Message: Hi, I�m a totally blind walker, and I'm looking for people to go walking with who would be prepared to act as my guide. If you have a dog, or at least like dogs then all the better, as I have a lively guide dog who would love to come along sometimes.

I can usually be free to walk locally any day of the week. It would also be good to hear from people anywhere in the country who would be interested in setting up a small group for weekends away, or possibly to walk one of the national trails, either all at once or a section at a time. 8 to 12 miles a day, depending on terrain is ideal for me, although shorter walks locally are fine too of course. Dogs would be very welcome of course, as well as a sense of humour and a rucksack full of food!

Don't worry if you haven't guided anyone who is blind before - you'll soon get the hang of it. I'm a fairly experienced walker and I don't think walking with me is too stressful. (although others may disagree)

Looking forward to hearing from anyone who can help get my rusting knees walking again.
