I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Newcastle Upon Tyne

My Message: Hi I'm a reasonably fit 50+ lady looking for walking companion(s) or a group of walkers in the North East of England. Just to get away from the same old home to work routine that goes on week after week. My partner thinks getting from A to B should be done by the quickest and fastest route possible. (Why walk when you can get there in a rocket!) Have previously done some walking/hiking in North Yorks and Lake District and Northumberland. I'm free most weekends, but would also like to organise a group walk for a few days. I know the weather's not great at the moment, but meeting up just to talk about organising walks could be fun and could be done over a couple of drinks in a warm friendly pub?
