I am a Male Walker, in my mid 30s, based near Bolton

My Message: Looking for a walking buddy? Perhaps we can help each other. My name's John and I'm very keen on walking. I'm 34 and live in Bolton in Lancashire. I have about twenty years' walking experience and am comfortable on various terrains from low-level walks to the mountains of the Lake District and Wales. I am physically fit and can easily walk twelve to fourteen miles per day. Swimming and cycling are two of my other interests. The only difference between you and me is that I cannot see. I am therefore looking for people to walk with who can act as my eyes. Guiding me is very much easier than you might think and I can easily explain to you how to do it, even if you've never guided a blind person before.
