I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Clitheroe

My Message: Hi, I walk as often as time permits as a single parent who also needs to earn a living. Luckily that's not full time, and as it's in a school, I have good holidays with time to spare. Kids now teens so can be left alone (but are rarely persuaded to put on their boots with me). Tried walking groups but don't really like the large group thing -prefer to walk with a friend or small group. Looking to find a few more buddies, to share the views (or laugh about the lack of them).

Done long distance walks in the dim and distant past (Pennine Way, Hadrian's Wall, Lyke Wake) as well as trekking in Tibet and Bhutan, but realistically it's going to be half/full days or occasional overnights (happy camper) within an hour or so of home (Ribble Valley). Generally fit - swim and cycle too.

Would be great to arrange some days out through this site. Half term and Christmas holidays are not too far away... Please get in touch if you fancy a walk.
