I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Portsmouth

My Message: Hi, my name is Dave. Having given up work to be a full time carer for my wife who had Motor Neurone Disease, I now sadly find I have a lot of spare time on my hands and would like to get back outdoors walking in company with one or more like-minded people. I am active and healthy, with interests in walking and hiking, cycling, and sailing. For now I am looking for friendship or companionship for day or weekend walking. In due course I would like to find someone for longer hiking trips, either in the UK or abroad. Used to regularly walk up to 10 - 12 miles per day in the hills, although I am very happy to do shorter and flatter walks especially initially as my legs probably need a bit of retraining.
