I am a Female Walker, in my late 60s, based near Barnsley

My Message: Hi I live in South Yorks and retired, at last, earlier this year so now I am able to go walking midweek as well as the weekends. Looking for a companion who also enjoys the tranquility of the countryside and wildlife. Am quite happy on a canal walk, equally happy up a hill, and love the variety of landscapes our lovely little country offers us. I am a member of RSPB, National Trust and English Heritage. I would really like to do some coastal walks this year. Am a car driver so free to meet up anywhere. I look forward to hearing from you!

A bit more about me:

I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops. I'm happy to walk in most weathers but do not like snow and ice. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

Important: For the avoidence of doubt I am definitely not looking for anything other than someone to go walking with.
