I am a Male Walker, in my mid 60s, based near Holsworthy

My Message: Hi, I used to do a lot of walking (Cairngorms etc. ) in my youth so keen to 'gradually' get back into some more serious stuff in the Southwest, Dartmoor and the coast. Love the outdoors and but not as fit as I was so would love to have a walking partner as my wife/kids are not into walking in any way. Good with a map and not too fussy about perfect weather. Like to chat and have a laugh, pub and creature comforts at the end of the day are great. Available any time as retired. Look forward to hearing from anyone interested.

A bit more about me:

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. I'm happy to walk in most weathers but do not like snow and ice. I like walking with dogs and will bring my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have my own Campervan/Motorhome.

I am also interested in:

• Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
• Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;
• Mountain Biking

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
