I am a Male Walker, in my late 50s, based near Oxon

My Message: Hello, reasonably athletic, non-smoker but do not mind if you do. I have enjoyed walking, hiking, climbing and body board surfing for many years, much of it spent on my own with my Son, single parenting has it's charms, it has stood me in good stead for all things practical and homely. I live near Oxford and with my Son now grown up I have time to travel. I walk highland and lowland and enjoy country villages and pubs. I take an interest in green woodworking (bodgers). Member of CSSC. Permanent caravan in The Forest of Dean. I'm happy to walk local and/or much further afield in any location really. Forest of Dean, Brecons, Dartmoor and Exmoor are all I consider reasonably local. I would like to return to Cumbria, Yorkshires and Scotland, the furthest North I have been is Turnberry and Edinburgh (hardly North :-))). Ireland's tempting.. I also enjoy holidaying in Cornwall.
