I am a Male Walker, in my late 60s, based near Malvern
My Message: As I've been on this great site for 3 years I thought an update was in order. I now spend December, January and February in Ribeira Brava, Madeira and the remaining 9 months here in Malvern; both splendid walking centres. Nevertheless, while in England I like to get away and over the last few years have walked the SWCP from Exmouth to Poole in dribs and drabs. Thinking of a new project this year, I saw on this site that Wales is split into fourteen mountainous regions. How about climbing the highest in each region? In a relaxed way, you understand, going away for a few days at a time. Investigation showed that I'd done many of them before so I decided on the third highest of each instead. Anyone fancy joining me? Oh, I'm planning to walk the Fisherman's Trail, along the Atlantic Coast in Portugal, probably in October, as well.
My Preferred Walk Grades*: 1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8:9
My Preferred Walk Areas:
North West England; Yorkshire; The English Midlands; Wales; The Heart of England; South East England; South West England;
