Im ready to shake off those extra pounds and would love to get out there and meet new friends whilst exploring the great outdoors. I just never seem to find anyone to go for a walk with! My dogs are getting old and are slowing down and I feel as though Im joining them! I feel a bit rusty and will need to start with the less challenging walks. I can hold a conversation and climb up hills but not at the same time! I spend some of my free time with relatives in Wales and would love to explore that area more, Most of my walking is in the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes Please,,,, help me out of this armchair!

My Message: Hi I am still very fit and active N/s and with a gsoh. I would like some female companionship on walks. I have walked mostly in the SE and have done NDW Greensands Way plus the Brecon Beacons Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Abroad I have walked in the Stubai Valley in Austria which is my favourite walking area with easy routes to follow. All of these I happy to revist again. I am free midweek and most Sundays. I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Leeds.

My Message: Hello
I am an enthusiastic if somewhat unfit walker having had my boots hanging on the back of the door for the last year! I want to start getting out again, but would love some company, starting off with grades 1 to 3, and working up to the rest and hopefully getting farther afield once I become fitter.
I can take time off during the week so am not restricted to the weekends.
I own a dog - just a year old - and I would quite like to take him out with me, but so far he has never seen a sheep! So not precious about it.
I hope to hear from someone who enjoys walking, wants to build up their fitness, and doesn't mind being in the company of someone who goes bright red, sweats and puffs a bit going up hill!
