Fellow go4awalkers Chris and Alan on Fairfield summit

While I was on Great Rigg I met a fellow go4awalker, Chris, who recognised my walk directions. He said he had always wanted to do the Horseshoe but hadn't actually done it. I persuaded him and his friend Alan that it was well worth doing and so the three of us completed the rest of the walk together. Although the walk was a little longer and had a few more scrambles than they had anticipated they felt a great sense of achievement as they got back down to Ambleside. I promised I would post their photo as neither had a camera to record their walk.
