Suddenly remembered this & thought it would be great; it was. Loved the route & will definitely be doing it again. 3 hours 30mins >> 2 hours 18mins [with] On my own [weather] A bit drizzly to start, but then dry - crazy wind on the top but just so fresh. - Fab shorter walk - so much more than a "fill in." The wind was insane at the top - but had thought there was so much more to do & delighted to have already completed it! Ran / jogged / leapt a lot of the way back from the peak & couldn't stop grinning (even in big blue coat).

I added Walla Crag onto a walk across the ridge to Bleaberry Fell from Armboth. I had a lot of walking in my legs so I went down to Walla Crag & back up to Bleaberry before descending to the river to cross & go up Raven Crag. Unfortunately I slipped crossing the river & broke my arm, spoiling what had been a brilliant day's walking. (I still went up Raven Crag though.)

Continued to Rakefoot, Castlerigg, Springs Wood, & back to Keswick. A lovely, satisfying run.

Really a nice walk & quite easy for a wainwright [with] simon, jenna and vanessa [weather] very changeable weather plenty of fine rain & wind coming up the valley to keswick - Recomend this one, walk down derwent on its own was nice
