Darren Mortimer bagged Round Hill (Tyne Head) on March 30th, 2019 [from/via/route] Garrigill using walk c443 [with] Dermot Palmer [weather] overcast. no rain - What a bloody awful walk this is. Starts out so nice too. Peak bagging & nothing more.
Kevin Foster hiked Round Hill (Tyne Head) on May 19th, 2018 [from/via/route] Bellbeaver Rigg [with] Henry. [weather] Sunny. - The following section of this walk should carry the caveat 'not to be attempted in wet conditions or poor visibility'. Fortunately, I had neither of these, the weather was very sunny & the ground underfoot was very dry, even so it was still tough going with no evident paths to follow to reach the top of this fell. The views from the small pile of stones marking the summit of Round Hill, which although higher than Bellbeaver Rigg, were not as good due to the flattish top & a high stone wall obscuring most of the views in a westerly direction.
Christine Shepherd summited Round Hill (Tyne Head) on April 2nd, 2017 [from/via/route] Walked from Garrigill using walk c443 [with] On my own [weather] Glorious spring sunshine with a light breeze. - Wonderful views from this summit especially towards Cross Fell.
Mark Davidson conquered Round Hill (Tyne Head) on November 17th, 2008 [with] Mike [weather] Wet, mist, miserable - loved it - My Final English Mountain (Hewitt)!
