Martyn Howarth walked up Dufton Pike on February 14th, 2022 [from/via/route] From Dufton village following Pennine Way to Halsteads, then up the Pike from the North West. Headed down South East side & then followed bridleway back to village. [with] Angela Howarth, Matilda Howarth, Archie Howarth & Barnaby Howarth. Bill Howarth & Sue Leach. [weather] Had been very wet in days preceding, but stayed dry throughout the walk. Wet under foot until we got to Halsteads, but then much drier. Windy on exposed ride of the Pike itself. - Post office tea shop in Dufton not open until Easter, to headed to Cranstons in Penrith for refreshments & a bit of shopping!

Christine Shepherd climbed Dufton Pike on June 1st, 2019 [from/via/route] Walked from Dufton using walk c445 [with] With my daughter Rebecca [weather] Dull but clear for this fell. Conditions got a lot worse later in the day. - A few false summits but a straightforward climb.

Pam Joy hiked Dufton Pike on May 5th, 2014 [from/via/route] Dufton [with] David, paddy the lurcher and Bella the greyhound [weather] Bit hazy - The initial part of the route was blocked by inquisitive cattle & me & paddy don't do cattle so we backtracked & went up the steeper route.
