Return by River Caldew. [with] Solo [weather] Sunny Intervals, warm in the sun. Breezy from the north east. - Long hard walk with tough climb from the onset. Mose dale valley on the way back beautiful. Chap lost his dog on Round Knott & Milton, but found him. I lost my map & waterbottle!

John Bryers bagged Carrock Fell on June 23rd, 2022 [from/via/route] Parked at Mosedale just North of farm buildings on way out of Village from A66. Going South I followed sign to Swineside on right from farm buildings. Just after last house on left, took path on right to Carrock Fell. [with] No longer with my Mya, she was put to sleep aged 15 and 4 months. I miss her so much. However, i took Jazz another Patterdale as I was looking after her while her owners were skiing. [weather] Light rain & wind, with low cloud throughout walk. - tbh I lost my way a little in the low cloud & hit the ridge towards Round Knott, so traversed right to top. Heading towards High Pike next.
