Geoff Hand walked up Brae Fell on August 30th, 2024 [from/via/route] Walk C163 Great Cock up, Meal Fell Gt Sca Fell, Little Sca Fell,Brae Fell & Longlands fell from overwater [with] Kate Johnson, Nikki Dakk and Anthony Atkinson [weather] Lovely sunny day, with broken cloud, hazy sunshine - Lovely day with good company, beautiful open countryside. We went wrong around Trusmadoor coming off Gt Cock up which meant we walked around in circles crossing the beck several times! otherwise it was very straight forward. Luckily Kate was there to share navigational thoughts.Finished up at the Farriers Arms in Threlkeld a for beer afterwards.
