Christine Shepherd hiked Brunt Knott (South Top) on July 27th, 2011 [from/via/route] Walked from Stavely [with] My friend Jenny [weather] Hot & sunny - Jenny & I enjoyed the start of this walk & bagged both Brunt Knott summits easily. However, going on to bag Ulgraves proved more difficult. Wainwright admits that route finding here is difficult. Indeed, Chris Jesty has now changed one of Wainwright's directions from South to South West. As it was we missed the return ridge & went too far. We had to return to Stavely via the road. I did return the following month to bag Ulgraves with my daughter, Hannah.
Paul Booth, Peter Thwaites, Louise Sandwith and Adrian Howard have all walked, climbed & bagged Brunt Knott (South Top).
