Melfyn Parry walked up Craiglwyn on June 6th, 2021 [from/via/route] Start point is car park behind Joe Brown's in Capel Curig. Cross road & head up path to SH727581, turning left to follow steep path up towards Crimpiau. Going around Craig Wen & Moel Ddefaid before ascending Craiglwyn then along to Creigiau Gleision North Top before dropping down to the dam at Llyn Cowlyd. Follow path alongside lake until you reach SH716609, then turn left & follow path back to A5, then return to car park [with] PRC [weather] Good - Didn't ascend peak of Greigiau Gleision at 678m, will do this another day.
Mark Davidson climbed Craiglwyn on June 26th, 2003 [with] Alone [weather] Sunny & very hot - long tiring walk in such conditions - Ran out of water towards the end
