Melfyn Parry walked up Foel Cwm-Sian Llwyd on April 25th, 2025 [from/via/route] Started walk from parking area off B4391 at grid reference SJ006321 Start of walk is okay as leads up a track as wide as a quad bike but soon disappears & the going gets tough. Just heather bushes, sometimes two feet high, made progress very slow. A little easier towards the top but not a pleasant ascent. Tried to find a better path down with no success. Some narrow paths, sheep trods & often no path at all. A two mile walk that took 2 hours. Won't be doing this one again. [with] On my own [weather] It was breezy & cool at times, at least it didn't rain. - Excellent views in all directions from the top. No one else on this hill, not surprised given the terrain & how difficult the walking is on this hill.
Christina Lander climbed it on July 27th, 2024 [from/via/route] Followed Nant Ceunant-bach to begin, from a lay-by on B4391 to the trig point, & returned the same way [with] Dick [weather] A beautiful warm evening on the first day of the holiday - During our holiday staying at Y Gilfach, Bryn Melyn, Llandderfel
