The Central Cairngorms area of The Cairngorm Mountains region of Scotland is the area enclosed by an imaginary line connecting:

• Coylumbridge to Nethy Bridge via the River Spey to the North West
• Nethy Bridge to Linn of Dee via the River Nethy, Allt Bheadhair, Glasath, Lochan a' Bhainne, Allt an t-Seallaidh, Lairig an Laoigh, Coire Etchachan Burn, Glen Derry, Derry Lodge and Lui Water to the East
• Linn of Dee to Geldie Burn via the River Dee and White Bridge to the South
• Geldie Burn to Coylumbridge via Glen Dee, Corrour Bothy, Pools of Dee, Lairig Ghru, Allt Druidh and Am Beanaich to the West

There are 15 'tops' to walk up, bag and conquer, the highest point is Ben Macdui (Beinn MacDuibh) and the area includes:
