Best Altitude Meter?
Q. I'm currently walking HEWITTS ( England ), and the highest peak/altitude I'm at has come in to question a few times if a trig or cairn isn't present, such as Great Coum and Birks Fell. I usually pace from a handrail but would like to have more certainty. I bought a friend an Altitiude watch but if he forget to preset at sea level it was a problem. I'm also considering a GPS as I usually walk alone. Can you recommend best A Meter and will it overcome my present difficulties est. Peak? Many thanks
