Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
The Clayton Windmills are on the hill above Clayton. Jill (the white windmill) was moved here from Patcham in 1821. It is open to the public at weekends and bank holidays. Jack (the black windmill) was erected in 1866 and is privately owned.

The highest point of this walk is Wolstonbury Hill at 207m (679ft). Wolstonbury Hill is known as an English Bridget. The summit of Wolstonbury Hill is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.

Part of this walk follows a section of The South Downs Way, a 162km (101 miles) linear footpath connecting Eastbourne (Holywell) in East Sussex, England with Winchester in Hampshire, England.
