Arenig Fawr (Moel Yr Eglwys) is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (27th highest in Wales, 53rd highest in England & Wales) and a Welsh Marilyn (12th highest in Wales, 311th highest in the UK).
The summit of Arenig Fawr (Moel Yr Eglwys) is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.
Completing this walk will also take you to the top of Arenig Fawr (South Top) at 836m (2744ft). Arenig Fawr (South Top) is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (29th highest in Wales, 64th highest in England & Wales).
You will also reach the summit of Moel Llyfnant at 751m (2465ft). Moel Llyfnant is classified as a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (50th highest in Wales, 119th highest in England & Wales)
Moel Llyfnant is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (62nd highest in Wales, 146th highest in England & Wales) and a Welsh Marilyn (23rd highest in Wales, 480th highest in the UK).
