The highest point of this walk is Axe Edge (Axe Edge Moor) at 551m (1808ft). Axe Edge (Axe Edge Moor) is also known as an English Dewey (69th highest in England, 159th in England & Wales) The summit of Axe Edge (Axe Edge Moor) is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.
Completing this walk will also take you to the top of Whetstone Ridge at 547m (1795ft). Whetstone Ridge is also known as an English Dewey (77th highest in England, 180th in England & Wales)
You will also reach the summit of Cheeks Hill at 520m (1707ft). Cheeks Hill is known as an English Bridget. Cheeks Hill is the highest point in the county of Staffordshire.
