I am a Female Walker, in my early 60s, based near Rhyl.

My Message: Hi I'm Jean. New to the site. I am interested in meeting people to go for walks either locally or Lake District, Shropshire. Either mid-week or weekends can be arranged. I am reasonably fit 60 year old. I did a sponsored walk on the Great Wall of China earlier this year, so feel that nothing is beyond me now. The Wainwright Walks interest me, I would like to do them all over a period of time. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining me.. Jean.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 60s, based near Chichester.

My Message: Hi, I am a very fit 63 yr old female. I am slightly restricted to walking locally, since I am a carer for my father. However with forward planning, I can go further afield. My very well behaved golden retriever likes walking too! Hoping to meet like-minded people (m/f) to share my enthusiasm for flora/fauna. Pub lunches always welcome, or picnic in clement weather. Other interests include art/music/literature/gardening. Hope to hear from you.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 30s, based near Northampton.

My Message: Hi, I'm looking for a walking partner, preferably male, age between 25-45, for weekends away in the lake district (though I can be tempted with snowdonia too.. ). I'd like to get away every couple of months, and be able to share the journey up as well as the walks. Be good to really click with someone and be able to have a laugh over a few beers afterwards in the pub, or set up a wild camp somewhere. I'm open minded, easy going, have a good sense of humour (sounds like a dating advert, but if you spend a whole day out on the hills with someone you should make sure you get on !). What else... I drag my camera about and take photos I'm never happy with.... and I prefer to get off the beaten track where possible (didn't want to join the Ramblers, as I walk to get away from people, but would love to share the experience with someone like minded). contact me and see what happens... looking to go away early/mid Oct if there's anyone out there....

I am a Female Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Thame.

My Message: Hi, I'm a 'relaxed' walker with a great love of the countryside and nature, married to a non-walker! I'm not into route marches (perish the thought!) but like to stop and appreciate interesting views. I like photography and would enjoy sharing walks with chatty like-minded individuals with a view to building a small group of friends to walk with, find nice watering holes and coffee houses to round off the day. I also have long summer breaks to extend walks - maybe walking hols which are great fun - as I work term-time only.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 40s, based near Ashton Under Lyne.

My Message: Hi, I live in East Lancashire and I'm looking for new female friends to go walking with. Having spent the last few years walking with my boyfriend and always being left at least 100 yards behind, I'd now like to do some walks where I get to chat to people, take in the countryside and stop at cafes, pubs etc.
It would be good to get together a small group of like minded walkers, for walks in the North West ie. Lakes, Dales or Peak District. I usually do 8-10 miles at weekend as I work during the week. If anyone is interested please get in touch.

Like to keep a reasonable pace but no route marching please! Enjoy a cuppa and a chance to savour the view. Have done some of the main fells in the Lakes and getting to know the area slowly.
