I am a Male Walker, in my early 40s, based near St Leonards-on-sea.
My Message: Hi, I’m a keen walker, single, based on the Sussex coast. I like all sorts of walks, afternoon strolls to country pubs, or more challenging walks up mountains. Most of my walking is local to me in Sussex at the moment, except when I go on holiday. I’d like to explore further a field, but don’t have anyone to go exploring with. I enjoy the fresh air, the exercise, the conversation, the views and, if there’s a pub stop en route or at the end, the beer. I’d like to meet new friends for walks at weekends (I work Monday to Friday), but if you’re up for heading off for a weekend of walking in the more mountainous parts of the country, that would be cool too. Andrew

I am a Male Walker, in my early 50s, based near Harrogate.
My Message: Hello fellow walkers, first the basics, my name is John, I`m 52 in December, got my own teeth and hair (tho not as much as I used to have), pretty fit and active. 5ft 8ins, 12. 5 st. Recently divorced so plenty of time to spare. I`m a keen walker but not too keen on doing it by myself. I went out a few times with the local Ramblers Club, but the number of people tended to distract from the experience. Would prefer to go out in a small group (1-5 would be ideal). I know the Dales pretty well and have walked extensively in the Lakes. I went to the Peak District for the first time this year and I`m interested in getting to know the area a lot more.
I like quiet country pubs, good food, good music (anything that`s rock`n`roll`s fine. Who sang that?) smiling and the quiet life. Be nice to hear from some of you out there.

I am a Male Walker, in my late 40s, based near Preston.
My Message: Hi. I’m very new to this site and still exploring. I love walking, for exercise, to see the countryside / nature and for companionship. There’s nothing like sharing a fantastic view with a friend …and maybe a drink and a meal afterwards. Recently, I’ve concentrated on Lancashire and the Yorkshire Dales, but I’d love to get back into the Lake District again, where I walked a lot in my younger days. I’m 48, separated and free most weekends. I also enjoy walks closer to home on weekday evenings, when there’s enough daylight. I don’t mind getting wet and wind-blown. I’m close to Preston in Lancashire and it would be great to hear from you if you fancy joining me for a stroll. Andrew.

I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Southampton.
My Message: Hi, My name is Sue and I am 47 and single. I live in Hampshire and my passion for walking and hiking began a few years ago in the Lake District with my friend who lives in Newcastle.
I have progressed from flat walking to hiking in Andalucia (600-800 mtr climbs), Snowdon (miners trail) in July this year where it was heavy rain and blowing a gale the whole way up!!.... I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge though. Theres so many places I would like to visit however my walking partner lives too far away to make it a regular event. I do however reguarly walk with my sister and her husband locally in the New Forest/south coast and these are grade 1 and 2 walks.
It would be great to find a walking partner locally and happy to do 5 - 12 miles. I work shifts so often available mid week too. I have 2 daughters and 3 sisters so some male company would make a nice change. I do make a nice packed lunch but allways happy to visit the pub if preferable.
I have never used a map or compass, the walks/hikes I have done have either been guided or from a guide book but I am willing to learn!!
Personality wise I would describe myself as 'a people person' confident, outgoing and happy. I excersise approx 3 times a week.
Look forward to hearing from you.

I am a Male Walker, in my early 50s, based near Conwy.
My Message: Hi, I’m Paul
I’m a fairly experienced walker and walk predominantly in Snowdonia as I live in Conwy and it’s on my doorstep. I’m also quite happy to travel to other locations in the North Wales area.
I like to walk the peaks and ridges but just getting out into the wilds is good for me. I tend to prefer walks of about 8 to 12 miles as my knees suffer a bit if I go further especially if the walk has involved a couple of peaks.
So if you would like some company on a walk in North Wales and enjoy a good pint afterwards please get in touch..

I am a Male Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Lancaster.
My Message: Hi.., my name is warren, i am interested in finding female walking companions to explore Lancashire, Cumbria, mainly the stunning Lake District. I am not really into route marches, much prefer leisurely ambles, taking in the sights and sounds, over the fells, around lakes and tarns, along rivers, wonder around villages..... then finish off in a coffee shop/atmospheric pub pref with crackling fire... so if this sounds like anyone elses cup of tea, coffee or alcohol, please do get in touch. I also like historic houses, castles etc. If i really got on well with someone would like to travel further afield. I have children so can only really meet up aprox every other weekend.. look forward to hearing from you.

I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Tadcaster.
My Message: Hi, I came on this site to look for a local walking club. I love the outdoors, was brought up on a farm and just enjoy being out in the countryside. I've done all levels of walking including a couple of Munro's with a friend who completed them all! I love the Dales, having worked in Masham for a number of years before moving to West Yorkshire and now live on the edge of North Yorkshire. I have a great network of friends but none with the passion for walking as I have. I'd like to join a local walking group or meet friends who share the same interest. I love to get up early, be challenged by a good walk then be rewarded by drink in either a sunny garden or by a roaring fire! Unfortunately, I'm still working full time so my walks are limited to the weekends. I love the Yorkshire Dales and also the Coastal Paths of the East Coast. It would be great to meet someone with similar interestst to chatter along to along the path of life....

I am a Male Walker, in my early 50s, based near Oakworth.
My Message: Would you like some romance while out walking ? Yes you did read that correct......... Single 51 year old happy go lucky, easy going and young at heart, down to earth, working class male, with a good sense of humor, wishes to meet female walking and possible new romantic partner age 35 to 50 for camping and for walks of all grades, country side and mountains, and costal, you name it lets try and walk it or scramble it hand in hand, then chill out in the pub with a nice meal and a drink.
I love to walk alone but some days I feel I have walked 2 many happy but sometimes lonely miles in life, so it would be nice if I could meet a new lady who enjoys my hobby of camping and walking and who will walk hand in hand with me through life, as well as out in the countryside or coast or mountains.
I live in Oakworth / Haworth, that's the home of the Bronte Sisters and Withering Heights, and also home of the Railway Children, its on the borders of West Yorkshire and Lancashire. I enjoy the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, and I would love to walk and scramble and camp in many other areas. So would you like a kiss and a cuddle in the moon light beneath the stars ?

I am a Female Walker, in my mid 50s, based near London.
My Message: Hi, I am a 56 year old married woman and I live in the Cotswolds. I love walking, cycling, jogging and swimming and would like to make some new walking friends. I am young at heart and fit and up for strenuous as well as easy walks. I enjoy a pub lunch in the middle whenever possible. My children have flown the nest and I have two grandchildren. I have many interests including Theatre, Cinema, Tennis and Music. I do work but this is seasonal so would be looking for Ladies who would be available to walk during the weekdays. I am a Male Walker, in my late 40s, based near Chester.
My Message: Hi,
I'm Graham, new to this site, but thought i'd give it a go!
I'm 47, and a farmer, which keeps me fit, and contrary to popular belief, we do get time off!! I have a million hobbies, but walking, and especially up in the hills and mountains of this beautiful country of ours is my passion.
Do have some walking friends, but most would rather sit infront of a TV, so looking for more like minded people, with the same passion, who love being on top of the roof of the world :)
Have hill walked everywhere, but have recently discovered Snowdonia, which is strange, as it's been on my doorstep most of my life, and i'm in love hehe.
If you fancy a good yomp up a mountain, some chat and some laughs... and maybe food and drink in a pub on the way home, then what are you waiting for, come and say hi :)

I am a Male Walker, in my late 40s, based near Bolton.
My Message: Hi, I'm a bloke with a fun sense of humour. I love to walk with friends or on a one to one walk, with good company especially in the Lake District, Peak District or even locally around Rivington. Most of the people I go walking with can only commit now and again so would like to meet someone so that I can get out a bit more often. I like most walks from the odd hour here and there to a full day out getting up Snowden or somewhere similar. Bobbing in the pub for a pint and or a bite to eat just tops it off. If you enjoy similar please get in touch, John
