I am a Walker, in my late 20s, based near Cambridge.

My Message: hello.

I am a keen walker who has recently lost my walking buddy. I am loking fo some male company as i spend my working life with woman and need to escape sometime. I love walking and wild camping in the cairgorms but only manage to get there 4-6 a year. But have recently discovered the lake district and am quickly developing a new love. I am originaly from wales and spent my early years walking the brecon becons, think i maybe half mountain goat.

also need some asistance on the map reading and compass relationship. Was spoiled by last walking buddy, he was ex army.

I am a Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Teddington.

My Message: Surrey based female wltm walking buddy. Anywhere within Uk. Have been to Yorkshire, Peaks, dales, lakes.... enjoy wild camping. Did it with kids a for a while in but they got a little fed up with the cold too much, although it doesn't bother me. I am even planning to do some Survival Experience W/E courses later on this year. Am from France originally, where I enjoyed more of an outdoor life with walks in the Pyrenees, Swiss Alps.. when younger. Have not done good LONG WALKS for sometime, am thererfore eager to get back to it. Last few years were dedicated to other sports such as Triathlon and Swimming mainly. Am very interested to find someone who truly enjoys the outdoors with maybe a few new skills to pass on. Am quick learner, fexible, adaptable, will travel of course, however would prefer Wales and Yorkshire to start with as I dont know the UK countryside well enough yet. If you have other ideas about some other place I am listening.

My Message: Footloose and fancy free! Kids are teenagers now and they have no intentions of joining me for a hike. I have the caravan, the maps and the kendal mint cake - just need some pleasant company male or female for hiking weekends and school hols. Local weekend walks or further afield esp the Lakes. My Message: looking to set up a local walking group in Hertfordshire as I find a lot of groups are either too old or too young! I am happy to arrange or help organize walks within I guess a 25-30 mile radius of Hertford, with the possibility of some weekend hikes more further afield. I have just completed 25% of the Coast to coast walk which gives an indication of ability, but welcome all to group, especially if you'd like to improve your fitness/stamina

My Message: I'm 49 years young, reasonably fit, and love getting out into the hills whenever life allows me to. looking for a walking companion who enjoys a moderate challenge followed by a well deserved drink or a meal. Live in South Lincolnshire so not too many hills around here, but love to drive up to the Peak District on sunday mornings. Oh and I love my gadgets but can read a map!
