I am a Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Teddington.

My Message: Surrey based female wltm walking buddy. Anywhere within Uk. Have been to Yorkshire, Peaks, dales, lakes.... enjoy wild camping. Did it with kids a for a while in but they got a little fed up with the cold too much, although it doesn't bother me. I am even planning to do some Survival Experience W/E courses later on this year. Am from France originally, where I enjoyed more of an outdoor life with walks in the Pyrenees, Swiss Alps.. when younger. Have not done good LONG WALKS for sometime, am thererfore eager to get back to it. Last few years were dedicated to other sports such as Triathlon and Swimming mainly. Am very interested to find someone who truly enjoys the outdoors with maybe a few new skills to pass on. Am quick learner, fexible, adaptable, will travel of course, however would prefer Wales and Yorkshire to start with as I dont know the UK countryside well enough yet. If you have other ideas about some other place I am listening.

I'm recently single and I've lost my map reader, and alot of walking friends in couples, I love to walk and not adverse to an all day walk, I think I'm good fun but thats for you to judge, I have my weekends to myself as children at dads, so I'm up for weekends camping as well, and if you have kids I'm up for family camping trips.


Not bothered if your male or female, I'm just looking for a walking companion its not the same on your own. and I like the pint but at the end of a walk, thats essential !!!!

I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Macclesfield.

My Message: I would like to do more walking, but I am limited as to when I can go and how far I can walk. I can usually do about 5 - 10 miles but don't always like to go in groups, mainly because I occasionally feel like I'm on a route march. I have also some problems with the pace of some of the walks and feel that sometimes I'm going to get left behind, even when I'm not at the back. I would quite like to go in a small group who walk at a good pace, but are not keep fit fanatics. Anyway if this email hasn't put you off, please get in touch.

My Message: Walked round Kidsty Pike and onto High raise, low raise 2wks ago and although the weather was supurb and the views were stuning however it would have been and extra bonus if I had company. Scarfell, Helvellyn, Hart crag, Fairfield, Nethermost, Langsdale, Sheffield Pike, Hayestack, Green gable, High cup Nik, How Gills. TheYorkshire, Snowdon and the Breacon horse shoes.
