I am a Walker, in my late 50s, based near Rotherham.

My Message: Hi, I am early retired, fit and healthy, I walk most days. I am usually in the Peak District 2/3 times a week and know many interesting walks. I also walk locally in the Wentworth area of South Yorkshire.
I enjoy a good laugh and never run out of conversation, I am usually well versed in the local History and best view points of where I walk.
Being retired and curious I have no problem traveling to areas further afield in my quest to make new friends.
If you fancy a walk/talk and a good laugh, please get in touch.

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Nelson.

My Message: Hi. I live in East Lancashire and like to go walking locally as well as in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes. I have two reasonably well behaved dogs and a lot of the time we just go off together. Sometimes it would be great to have some companionship though. I'm reasonably fit, though haven't done any of the big Lakes fells for quite a while. I can manage 10 miles, but most of my walks locally are shorter. Last year I walked the Lady Anne Way with a group of friends, and this year we're doing the Cumbria Way bit by bit.

My Message: Hi my name is Stuart looking for a fairly experienced walking companion to walk in the Lake District or anywhere in the North of the UK. I have just started walking over a year ago but have a good fitness level and will give any distance or grade ago.
I own my own pub restaurant so Mondays are the best days for me, other days can be arranged but not weekends.
Easy going just looking for a good walk followed by a well desevred pint.

I'm looking to walk in Wales, Scotland and the north of England. A trip to Switzerland, Germany or Austria is also on the agenda. I am a Walker, in my mid 60s, based near Near Darlington.

My Message: I've recently moved to County Durham and am looking for one (or two)new friends for occasional or regular walks. I walk often, but don't particularly like going out with large groups.
I'm a fairly experienced walker - familiar with the Yorkshire Dales, but still trying to finish the Wainwrights! I live a little south of Durham so have good access to Lakes, Dales and Northumbria - though I haven't much knowledge of the latter and would be happy to remedy this.

I look forward to hearing from anyone out there with similar interests. Jean

I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Brigg.

My Message: Hi, my name is Sharon and I live in North Lincolnshire. It's been a while since I did much walking and as a result I'm not as fit as I used to be. I am looking for companions for weekend day walking (and perhaps an evening walk in the week if someone lived locally enough); preferably someone who would be happy to take things at my pace initially. I have walked on my own but I get pleasure from sharing the experience and it is not the same without a companion. I enjoy a pint and pub meal as reward at the end too :)

My Message: Hi My name's Angie and I'm looking for a male to accompany me on my walks. I'm fairly fit, hoping to do some good long distance walks and looking for someone to introduce me to the excitement of hillwalking and getting off the beaten track - I don't really have navigation skills yet but am keen to learn. I love Snowdonia and the majesty of the mountains but quite happy to explore anywhere and everywhere off the beaten track. I enjoy a hard day's walking but am equally happy to stop and enjoy the view while taking a well earned breather.
