I am a Walker, in my late 60s, based near Bury St Edmunds.

My Message: I'm an outdoor sort of guy, been involved in walking and running most of my life. I live in Suffolk which believe it or does have some wonderful countryside and coast.
I'm currently looking for someone who might like to join me next May 2015 to walk half of the Coast to Coast, propose to do the second half in September. Shall be looking to finalise details and book accommodation early 2015. Seeking male or female who obviously is comfortable walking between 14 and 20 miles a day.
It's now January and I'm still looking....

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Clitheroe.

My Message: Hi, my name is Peter and I am seeking a female walking companion. I currently walk around the Pendle, Ribble Valley areas as well as doing either one, two, or three of the Yorkshire peaks. It is a little monotonous to say the least when out on your own. I would love some company to make the pastime more enjoyable.
I would also like to do more of the Lake District this coming year, and maybe further afield.

I am a Walker, in my mid 60s, based near Nottingham.

My Message: Hello there, my name is Christine and I love walking. I like to walk anything between 8-12 miles every Sunday and at least once mid-week. I love the Peak district, but will walk anywhere within a couple of hours drive of Nottingham and where there is interesting scenery as I always have my camera with me. I don't really like walking alone so tend to walk with organised groups. My motto is, you can't walk too often or have too many friends - Come and join me!

I am a Walker, in my early 60s, based near Chelmsford.

My Message: Hello. I live in Essex where the main challenge in the winter is the mud! I walk regularly with a walking group but am looking for a male companion to share walks in a different way:-to plan the walk together, to discover the wonderful British countryside and wildlife, to chat and laugh along the way, to stop and look when and if you want, to have time to take photographs and at the end of the day to collapse into the teashop or pub. Although much maligned Essex has a very varied landscape with the estuaries and their big skies quite stunning but no hills that I've noticed! Last year I did some walking on the SW Coastal Path which was spectacular but challenging - up and down all the way. I'm happy with most reasonable distances and particularly like the prospect of completing a long distance trail - possibly in stages depending on the length. That said I'd be happy to walk almost anywhere! If you think you might be interested please get in touch.

I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Bristol.

My Message: Based in Bristol. I used to be very fit, walking and cycling every day. However, I'm working from home these days and suddenly piling on the pounds. Help! I would love to get fit again in the company enthusiastic walkers, male or female. I'm interested in making good friends, but am too used to the single life for a relationship. For the purposes of harmonious conversation, I'm an atheist and a bit of a liberal who wobbles with age into grumpiness. I love literature, writing, travel (especially Italy) and the English countryside and England, but NOT in a UKIP way.

I can make my own hours, so am available weekdays as well as weekends.

I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Lyndhurst /Exmoor.

My Message: Hi I am a fairly fit heterosexual lady who would love to find a walking companion. I run a pub in the New Forest which is when I walk daily with my dogs but I spend alot of my time in Exmoor on my days off, where I also walk. I tend to walk much longer walks down there as obviously I have more time. I love taking time out to explore new areas especially Scotland which I have visited a lot but find it a bit lonely on my own all the time. I love staying in my camper in remote places and travelling around discovering new places in the British Isles. I would obviously like to meet the love of my life but to find a likewise person who is bright, loves the countryside, can cope with my dogs and enjoys walking with me would be great. I can walk up to 8 /10 miles easily and love picnics, or a visit to a pub. Anyone that would like to meet for a walk in the New Forest or Exmoor (or anywhere really.. there are so many places to see) please get in touch. I run from my pub a dog walk on the 1st Sunday in the month. Feel free anyone with a mut that would like to come along.

I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Thirsk.

My Message: I'm in the process of trying to form a congenial small group of people (not always easy) who love walking and who would like to meet up for a day's walking on a regular basis, or possibly walk over several days once we get to know each other.

I've recently passed my Silver NNAS (National Navigation Award Scheme) and am already putting it into practice, but at the moment I tend to walk alone - but not through choice. Another plan is to walk the Coast to Coast with a few others next year.

However, I am not a "peak bagger" as my idea of a great walk is not being with hoards of people on a conveyor belt belting up the highest peak and back down again in the fastest time possible. I enjoy walks that take in a variety of scenery and away from the crowds.

So if you're interested I'd love to hear from you.
