I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Dursley.

My Message: Hi
I am 43 years young married but non walking partner. I am heading for a weekend in the lakes in the next few weeks and would love a lady companion. My plan is get there early sat morn and walk, stay over night in truck and leave sunday after another walk. I have to collect an item while there hence the reason for going.
Fancy a walk? all or part of the weekend? I can pick up along M5/M6 corridor. Non smoker, gsoh etc ;) I have a dog but he is soppy and very well behaved.
Pub lunch or beans on the Kelly kettle and a pint or 3 is a certainty :)

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Moreton.

My Message: I'm a pretty fit 54yr old female. I returned to walking about 18 months ago and wondered why I ever stopped. I'm keen to do lots more and happy to be introduced to new areas so my area list is, by no means, definitive. My map reading skills are a bit ropey but I'm working on them! I'd love to find a nice, easy going, companionable walking buddy for sociable weekend walks.

I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Bury St Edmunds.

My Message: Hi, I am a young 40 year old female, married with 5 cats!! I work in hospitality. I would like to meet females, couples or groups. I am quite easily pleased regarding where to walk-I do prefer longer walks that aren't too exhausting. I prefer public transport to driving. I also enjoy sight seeing, shopping(but NOT a hanbags and high heels person), music, history, film, reading, eating out, country pubs and history. I am an animal lover.
I do not like sport on TV at all.

I am a Walker, in my late 40s, based near Poole.

My Message: Hi, I'm 48 and looking for companion(s) for walks either local to me ( Dorset / Hampshire ), or in any of the beautiful parts of the country - and I'm happy to be shown more if I haven't ticked the box. I can use a map and a compass, and appreciate good, and sometimes silly, conversation along with the views ( and the occasional tea-shop/pub ). I am happy in YHA, BandB, and Cottages all year round, but try to avoid tents in winter. Having said that I'm planning to do the Inca trail! And I'd also like to explore France. Hope to hear from you. Jeff.

I am a laid back single 37 year old male, based in the South East, looking for a female walking companion to enjoy walking/hiking and weekends, possibly camping. I am interested in walking in the Lakes, Snowdonia or more local walks too. Somewhere with a pub at the end is a bonus!

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Cheltenham.

My Message: Hi, I'm looking for a female companion to share the local Cotswold Hills or mountain and upland regions both in the UK and elswhere. I'm equally happy climbing Cleeve Hill as I am Mont Blanc and have been walking and mountaineering since my late teens. Whilst some of the hardships are unavoidable I like to contrast these with good accommodation, good food and good wine. Have car, will travel although a like minded companion in the vicinity of Gloucestershire would be good. Ignore the interested list as I am keen to walk anywhere where the scenery is good and the company likewise.

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Rawtenstall.

My Message: Hi, is anyone up for walking the West Highland Way this year ? I've been hoping to do this for a whil and finally decided to give it a go now that I have some free time. I have looked at guided walking companies but prices seem ludicrous. It would be fun to do this walk with others who enjoy the lovely Scottish scenery and good company. I need to get a little fitter before embarking on this so I plan to do some other walks beforehand. Would love to hear from others[ age and gender unimportant ] who also have an interest in completing the WHW. I am also interested in walking in the Lake DIistrict, yorkshire Dales etc, week-ends away or day walks. On a personal note I have wide interests, care about others and our environment. I also have a good sense of humour and like everyone else I enjoy company and refreshments at the end of an exhilarating day. So, come on, you know you want to do this walk, get in touch !

I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Accrington.

My Message: Hello I'm Jackie and I'm looking for walking companions in the north of England. I live in Lancashire but try and get up to the Lake District every possible weekend camping and walking.
I'm planning to walk Hadrian's Wall over the first two weeks in May and it would be lovely if I could find someone to do this walk with. I want to do more exploring of the UK and perhaps do more long distance walks.
I also love walking abroad and have walked the Inca Trail and trekked into the Grand Canyon in the last couple of years.
I'm a really down to earth person, no airs or graces. I love football and am passionate about Cricket but overall I just love being outdoors in beautiful places.

I only realised I love walking in the last two years and now I just can't get enough of it. While I've never been one to not do something because I have no one to go with it's not always as exciting on your own. Especially when you find those 'off the beaten track' places and have no one to share them with.
So if you're sick of walking the lonely trail give me a bell.

I am a Walker, in my late 20s, based near Gloucester.

My Message: Hi, I'm Rich (sadly not in the financial sense), late mid twenties (ok, 28 then) from Gloucester (of Dr Foster fame). I'm reasonably fit (strictly in an exercise related sense!) and have a lot of hill walking experience. If truth be told I do occasionally punish myself on high altitude peaks abroad or on UK routes like the Welsh 3000s. That said, I'm looking for some female company to enjoy more moderate days out in the British Hills, perhaps with some wild camping thrown in. No experience necessary though it helps if you can tolerate rain, wet feet and bad jokes!
