I am a Walker, in my mid 30s, based near Bolton.

My Message: Looking for a walking buddy? Perhaps we can help each other. My name's John and I'm very keen on walking. I'm 34 and live in Bolton in Lancashire. I have about twenty years' walking experience and am comfortable on various terrains from low-level walks to the mountains of the Lake District and Wales. I am physically fit and can easily walk twelve to fourteen miles per day. Swimming and cycling are two of my other interests. The only difference between you and me is that I cannot see. I am therefore looking for people to walk with who can act as my eyes. Guiding me is very much easier than you might think and I can easily explain to you how to do it, even if you've never guided a blind person before. The main things you need are an open mind and common sense. If you've got those, we should get on great! If you're interested in meeting up for a walk, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Taunton.

My Message: Hi, I am 43 (female, single) and live by the Quantock hills in Somerset. I enjoy walking and always intend to be a bit more adventurous and go further afield but would really like someone to walk and talk with. Otherwise I just whimp out! I have kids at home who are old enough to be left for a for a while and I even get the odd weekend free.
I am arty and spend time on my own painting; but that can drive me crazy if I don't get out and see some of the world. I think seeing it at walking pace and being able to have company en route is the best!
I don't mind what age or male or female. (Although I am single and I guess hope springs eternal, this isn't really about that!)
I am keen to see anywhere, I even like walking around cities. Mountains, hills, coast. Lets get going!!

I am a Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Saffron Walden.

My Message: Hello there,
I am an attractive 45 yr old woman living near to Saffron Walden in Essex. I walk miles most weeks with my dogs but I miss the longer more challenging walks that I used to do with my other half. I would love to make some new friends, either male or female who are like-minded and if they loved dogs that would be a bonus as maybe I could bring them along too for some fresh air!!
Someone local would be good so we could walk regularly but I am also interested in meeting people that maybe I could do some long distance walks with in other parts of the country. Itravel up t the North East quite a lot as that is where I am from.

I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Newcastle Upon Tyne.

My Message: I am slim, fit(ish), fifty(ish), friendly, female (no ish) who is looking for male and female walking friends, for walks of between 7-10 miles, generally at weekends. I live in the North East, so would prefer people from this part of the country for walks in beautiful surroundings either at the coast or in the country. I enjoy walking at a reasonably brisk pace, good company, lively conversation and the prospect of a tasty pub meal and drink to round it off. I am not looking for an endurance test, but do like a bit of a challenge. Particularly hoping to find someone who likes to lead or, at the very least, knows which way to head for home should we get lost as, sadly, I was created without a sense of direction!

I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Skipton.

My Message: Hi I'm looking for a female walking companion for weekend or full weekend walks. I've only been walking for the past 2 years and so far I haven't seriously got lost yet. So far I have only walked in the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the Howgills, but I'm willing to be introduced to other areas. Walking on your own can be a bit boring at times and I'm also a bit on the shy side so get in touch. P. S. a drink at the end a must.

I like going uphill for sometime to get the wild views where the wind is louder than you!

I would like to find a male or female who is easy company, can talk but not all the time!

I am a Walker, in my late 20s, based near Telford.

My Message: Hi all. I'm training for the 3 peaks challenge, so am at the point where if I see a mountain or hill, I feel obliged to climb it. My friend count who share my enthusiasm is exactly zero. So I'm looking for anyone who's interested in getting some walking done over weekends. Ideally in Snowdonia, the Lakes or the Peak District. I have a car and I'm happy to pick up anyone interested that's en route. Single day walks, camping or BandB's. Whatever really. I'm pretty much up for anything. Age or gender not a consideration. So drop me a note and let's get something sorted.

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Moreton.

My Message: I'm a pretty fit 54yr old female. I returned to walking about 18 months ago and wondered why I ever stopped. I'm keen to do lots more and happy to be introduced to new areas so my area list is, by no means, definitive. My map reading skills are a bit ropey but I'm working on them! I'd love to find a nice, easy going, companionable walking buddy for sociable weekend walks.

I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Bury St Edmunds.

My Message: Hi, I am a young 40 year old female, married with 5 cats!! I work in hospitality. I would like to meet females, couples or groups. I am quite easily pleased regarding where to walk-I do prefer longer walks that aren't too exhausting. I prefer public transport to driving. I also enjoy sight seeing, shopping(but NOT a hanbags and high heels person), music, history, film, reading, eating out, country pubs and history. I am an animal lover.
I do not like sport on TV at all.

I am a Walker, in my late 40s, based near Poole.

My Message: Hi, I'm 48 and looking for companion(s) for walks either local to me ( Dorset / Hampshire ), or in any of the beautiful parts of the country - and I'm happy to be shown more if I haven't ticked the box. I can use a map and a compass, and appreciate good, and sometimes silly, conversation along with the views ( and the occasional tea-shop/pub ). I am happy in YHA, BandB, and Cottages all year round, but try to avoid tents in winter. Having said that I'm planning to do the Inca trail! And I'd also like to explore France. Hope to hear from you. Jeff.

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Cheltenham.

My Message: Hi, I'm looking for a female companion to share the local Cotswold Hills or mountain and upland regions both in the UK and elswhere. I'm equally happy climbing Cleeve Hill as I am Mont Blanc and have been walking and mountaineering since my late teens. Whilst some of the hardships are unavoidable I like to contrast these with good accommodation, good food and good wine. Have car, will travel although a like minded companion in the vicinity of Gloucestershire would be good. Ignore the interested list as I am keen to walk anywhere where the scenery is good and the company likewise.

I am a Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Rawtenstall.

My Message: Hi, is anyone up for walking the West Highland Way this year ? I've been hoping to do this for a whil and finally decided to give it a go now that I have some free time. I have looked at guided walking companies but prices seem ludicrous. It would be fun to do this walk with others who enjoy the lovely Scottish scenery and good company. I need to get a little fitter before embarking on this so I plan to do some other walks beforehand. Would love to hear from others[ age and gender unimportant ] who also have an interest in completing the WHW. I am also interested in walking in the Lake DIistrict, yorkshire Dales etc, week-ends away or day walks. On a personal note I have wide interests, care about others and our environment. I also have a good sense of humour and like everyone else I enjoy company and refreshments at the end of an exhilarating day. So, come on, you know you want to do this walk, get in touch !

I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Accrington.

My Message: Hello I'm Jackie and I'm looking for walking companions in the north of England. I live in Lancashire but try and get up to the Lake District every possible weekend camping and walking.
I'm planning to walk Hadrian's Wall over the first two weeks in May and it would be lovely if I could find someone to do this walk with. I want to do more exploring of the UK and perhaps do more long distance walks.
I also love walking abroad and have walked the Inca Trail and trekked into the Grand Canyon in the last couple of years.
I'm a really down to earth person, no airs or graces. I love football and am passionate about Cricket but overall I just love being outdoors in beautiful places.

I only realised I love walking in the last two years and now I just can't get enough of it. While I've never been one to not do something because I have no one to go with it's not always as exciting on your own. Especially when you find those 'off the beaten track' places and have no one to share them with.
So if you're sick of walking the lonely trail give me a bell.

I am a Walker, in my early 40s, based near Walsall.

My Message: Do you live in the WEST MIDLANDS ?? Are you female (between the ages of 30 to 46) and looking for a truly decent respectable male walking partner / a new male friend who loves the outdoors / or even a possible future romance with plenty of beautiful walks and outdoor adventures thrown in ?

Do you love scenic views, wildlife, or walking in the countryside or along the coast, or visiting interesting, beautiful, historical or mystical places throughout Britain ?

If you love walking in the countryside (or even if you fancy cycling along canals or canoeing down the River Wye) with a truly decent, polite, respectable, responsible, fun guy who loves doing the things listed above then please get in touch!

I'm six feet tall, good looking, with a fit physique. I'm slightly bohemian (alternative) and I have long dark hair, which I tie back most of the time. I absolutely love British wildlife, wild places and the outdoors. I'm single at the moment and I have no children, financial debts or baggage from the past. I am about to buy a new VW camper van too as I plan to spend as many weekends away walking and exploring as possible. Would you like to join me in my exploration and enjoyment of the beautiful British Isles ?

I am initially hoping to meet decent, respectable local walking partners as friends for walks first but I am also very open to the possibility of a romantic encounter or the possibility of a lasting committed relationship should it develop in the future.

If you're interested in seeing a few photos or speaking to me over the telephone then please message me.

I very much look forward to hearing from you.

Hundreds of beautiful walks await us!
