My Message: Hi, I live in Derbyshire and I am genuinely looking for a male companion to share all there is to love and enjoy in walking and discovering new experiences. I have loved walking for many years, and has always been my love and a way of keeping fit and healthy. I love walking in any weather and as often as possible. I enjoy both gentle walking, stoping to take in views and breath the fresh air, and longer all day walks which are more challenging.

I love walking holidays, and I would very much like to explore further. There are so many areas of the country I have yet to discover, and I am looking for a like minded male to share these times with. I would love to plan a walking holiday this year.

I am free to walk most week-ends, and also some evenings when the evenings are lighter.

My Message: Hi I'm a reasonably fit 50+ lady looking for walking companion(s) or a group of walkers in the North East of England. Just to get away from the same old home to work routine that goes on week after week. My partner thinks getting from A to B should be done by the quickest and fastest route possible. (Why walk when you can get there in a rocket!) Have previously done some walking/hiking in North Yorks and Lake District and Northumberland. My Message: Hi I've just hit 50 - gulp - and am climbing Kilimanjaro next year. Want to get plenty of hill walking in. I teach fitness and like challenging walks - with a good old gossip along the way. Easy going, and fun. I am Midlands based close to all of the main motorways so can head in any direction. Would like to do Snowdon around Xmas time. Don't mind rain, hail wind or snow - want to test out my new high altitude kit! My Message: Hi everyone, my name is Janet. I really enjoy walking but most of my friends are married and have family commitments so cannot get out and about every weekend with them. My Message: Hi I'm a 40 something male, looking for some companions to go walking in the Lakes, Peaks and Yorkshire areas. I live in the Howardian Hills area of North Yorkshire, so the moors are on my doorstep and I have walked in many areas around here. Unfortunately my family don't really share my enthusiasm for walking so I tend to pack a rucksack on 1 day of the weekend to escape on my own. Would rather have a bit of company along the way and thats where you come in ! I'm planning to do all the Wainwrights before i'm 50, so I am looking to be in the Lakes on a reasonably regular basis in the next 7 years, failing that some day trips to other areas like the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales etc. would be good. I'm easy to get on with, strong enough on nav skills not to get lost too often and can tackle anything from a flat 3-5 miler to a full days hike of several peaks. I am a Walker, in my late 40s, based near Cottingham.

My Message: Just finding my legs again as I have the time to walk once again. But really its no fun out by yourself, its much nicer to appreciate a view with a companion. Of course the most enjoyable way to end a day, is with a drink and good meal in a cosy hillside pub.
Really enjoy NYM, the Dales and Lakes, but would like to explore other Northern areas too. Quite like the idea of doing the Wainwrights. Eventually I'd like to work up to doing the C2C or other long distance path.
I work away from home, so when I am home, I'm home 24/7, so am available mid week or weekends.
So can I interest any one in a walk or hike?

My Message: I am specially looking for a female companion of any age who likes to walk and talk. I love good laugh. I am interested in most things and my hobbies are mostly of the all round active healthy kind, body and mind. My philosophy is 'give and take' and 'it takes two'.
Also, in school term time I like to walk weekdays between 9 and 3 preferably and not too far away from here in Sheffield i. e. Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire mostly, but not exclusively.
