Up to now the furthest I have walked is about 6 miles but would like to build this up with the aim to go on walking weekends and holidays in the Lake District, Peak District, Northumberland etc and even abroad. My Message: Hello.. I'm a warm, friendly, enthusiastic country-loving lady adjusting to new life, hoping to meet male and female walkers to explore new territory.
Flexible in work and of the opinion, if it's a nice day get out and enjoy it.
I walk most days with a friend but would love to meet new people to go further afield, and in particular the Yorkshire Dales. I have recently enjoyed a long distance cycle route with friends and am keen to continue this too.

My Message: I'm a 53 year old single, professional woman living in Leeds. I love walking, and do plenty of short but not particularly challenging walks in the countryside outside Leeds with friends. However, I enjoy more of a challenge, having recently got hooked on the delights of hill walking in the Lakes, and having been a member of LDWA for many years and done several of their challenge walks I'm also happy to walk longer distances. But, most of my friends don't fancy that idea, so I am looking for new walking partners to go further afield. OK, I will also be honest, as a single woman I would also like to meet a nice professional, single man who also enjoys walking - romance might just blossom on the hills!

I am a Walker, in my late 40s, based near Whitley Bay.

My Message: Hi I am a keen walker who prefers not to follow a ramble but to go off the beaten track or do hill walking. I have climbed Ben Nevis, Snowdonia and most of the big Cumbrian hills and peaks. I am looking for males who would like to walk at weekends only and can be the navigator as my map reading skills are poor (Dsylexic!). I have my own transport and willing to do the driving as long as we share the diesel. (No dogs please as its a new car). My other interests are cinema and film making, travelling, eating out and gadgets!

Reasonably fit and active but equally happy doing high-level walks but also some of my favourites are walks around the coast or around lakes in Cumbria. My Message: Hi, I'm Kevan and I live in Suffolk. I am now able walk long weekends and school holidays. I am keen to return to activities of my more youthful days, especially wild camping, although hostels are fine too. I'd also like to swim in streams and lakes in remote places as well! My Message: I've recently moved to County Durham and am looking for one (or two)new friends for occasional or regular walks. I walk often, but don't particularly like going out with large groups.
I'm a fairly experienced walker - familiar with the Yorkshire Dales, but still trying to finish the Wainwrights! I live a little south of Durham so have good access to Lakes, Dales and Northumbria - though I haven't much knowledge of the latter and would be happy to remedy this.
