Memorial overlooking Cove Harbour
East Lothian, Scotland
East Lothian, Scotland
The memorial commemorates the disastrous storm of October 1881, which killed 189 people and destroyed much of the East Coast fishing fleet. The sculptures, which show the widows and children left behind looking out to the sea and rocks, were designed by Jill Watson.
