I used Fleetwith Edge straight up & down; superb! Finally visited the Warnscale Bothy when I climbed this with Louise on 10.6.22. [with] Jenny [weather] Glorious sunshine - Had got very close to the summit the year before when I did the Via Ferrata at Honister but they wouldn't let us visit the actual summit.

Just a quick morning's walk but in sublime weather with fantastic view 360 degrees from both peaks [with] Just myself [weather] Dry & fine weather. - Simply awesome morning out
Richard Fulcher hiked Fleetwith Pike on July 10th, 2021 [from/via/route] Walked up from the NT car park at Honister Slate mine via the Bothy (which bothy?) to photograph the late evening light kissing the fells. Didn't quite work out that way as the heavens opened about 7pm & I got soaked to the skin. Had to hurriedly retreat back to the car. [weather] Sun, cloud, low cloud & then torrential rain!

[weather] Low clouds down on tops gradually lifting. - Not the most obvious route to bag this mountain. A tough descent from Kirk Fell into Ennerdale & then back out again via the path alongside Loft Beck followed by a detour round Haystacks before climbing on a diagonal path from Dubs Quarry to the summit cairn of Fleetwith Pike. Great views down Buttermere made it all worth while though.

[with] Gillian, Lisa, Andy, Abigail and Jessica. [weather] Beautiful sunny day, a bit cold on the summits, occasionally cloudy. - Approached the summit via Hay Stacks & Dubbs Quarry. The descent back to the car park a little demanding with the children, (they loved it), Finished walk at 1715hrs. with a well deserved ice cream from the refreshment wagon. Had tea at the Fish Inn, Buttermere. Thoroughly enjoyable day out.

As views none existent today we did same

Walked along Crummock water from Scale bridge Scale force, traversing Starling Dodd to join ridge path to top of Great Bourne returning via Starling Dodd & on to Red Pike & High Stile & High Crag & across to Haystacks & across to Fleetwith Pike & home down the fantastic ridge. [with] With Mya my 11 year old and now tiring faithful Patterdale Terrier. [weather] Weather blustery with occasional showers with some strong cool winds for August! - Once bagged, headed home down ridge & back along footpath on west side of Buttermere.

Mark Cummins climbed Fleetwith Pike on August 25th, 2010 [with] Sue, Tasha and Jess - With Sue, Tasha & Jess. The climb up to Haystacks was long & difficult but once at the top the views were great. Looking from Haystacks to Fleetwith Pike we felt we could never make it but it wasn't that bad. Nice view of the slate mine on the way up & the view across Buttermere & Crummock Water was amazing. Very fast down to the car but a bit of a scramble.
