Christine Shepherd walked up The Pike (Hesk Fell) on September 2nd, 2017 [from/via/route] Walked from the Woodend junction using Wainwright's Outlying fells book [with] On my own [weather] Beautiful sunshine. - The cairn seems to have been removed from the summit of this fell. Perhaps it is to stop people climbing over the fence to reach it. Unfortunately i did feel the need to climb over just to check.
Louise Sandwith, Peter Thwaites, David Preston and Mark Davidson have all walked, climbed & bagged The Pike (Hesk Fell).
