Tony Halliday bagged Dodd Fell Hill on June 9th, 2020 [from/via/route] Walked from hawes circular [with] sally halliday jimmy boo and George our 3 dogs [weather] Clear but cool no wind or rain perfect walking conditions - tough start levelled off no real path to trig point very boggy however made a nice change off the beaten track once at trig point excellent views could see morcambe & lake district

Margaret Richards hiked Dodd Fell Hill on June 2nd, 2020 [from/via/route] Between Dodd Fell & Wether Fell [with] Don [weather] Dry, warm, sunny & good views - Dry underfoot

Mark Davidson summited Dodd Fell Hill on January 16th, 2007 [from/via/route] Walk ny108 Dodd Fell Hill & Drumaldrace (Wether Fell) from Hawes [with] MK [weather] Bit grim - it was January

Simon Boddy conquered Dodd Fell Hill on April 14th, 2019 [from/via/route] Hawes [with] My girlfriend [weather] Fair - Did this followed by Drumaldrace

Caroline Winter scaled Dodd Fell Hill on October 20th, 2018 [from/via/route] Kidhow gate [with] Shirley [weather] Good views & sunny spells from road & PW, westerly wind, poor visibility on Dodd Fell Hill - Why I found locating Kidhow gate & the route, goodness knows. Attempted 2 days before, but had approximated mileage along road, & parked at end.....too far! Dark now by 6.30pm, so to return another day. Next time, had worked out exact mileage. 3 Peaks challenge from Hawes taking place, so support vehicles confirmed we were at Kidhow gate. The access road had been recently tarmaced-possibly on 8th Oct, & the PW finger post had not been replaced. We set off, confident this time that keeping to the right of the wall, as suggested would lead to the top. After some time, I figured this couldn't be right, as compass showing East, rather than North direction. Worked out, the wall didn't start until over 100 M along the PW bridle path, so back tracked & sneaking over a supporting stone wall where the wire over the top had been lifted, onto the right route (many other boot prints & gap in the wire, so same stupid mistake as me). Once on the right route, it was straight forward to walk to the spot to take a bearing up the moorland to find the trig. Shirley left me to it, as struggling with blisters & steep ascents (first time on the Fells).

Kevin Foster walked up Dodd Fell Hill on June 26th, 2017 [from/via/route] Gayle [with] By myself [weather] Sunny but a bit breezy - Very impressive 360 degree viewpoint. I was able to pick out most of the Yorkshire Dales 2000ers & could even make out The Howgills, Northern Pennines & The Eastern Lakeland skyline. A good one to start my new walking challenge with.

Tony Rogerson climbed Dodd Fell Hill on October 18th, 2015 [from/via/route] Gayle Dodd Fell & Drumaldrace [with] Darren Floss Robbie & Ruby [weather] Patchy low cloud

Andrew Joss bagged Dodd Fell Hill on June 7th, 2015 [from/via/route] Hawes [weather] Windy
