In-use Test:
Our two young testers (boy and girl) have worn the Regatta Packaway waterproof overtrousers for short periods during a variety of very wet, Autumn weather.
Overall the over-trousers performed well in keeping the rain out.
Our younger tester (male) was wearing size 7-8 and found the overall fit (including length) to be good and the trousers to be very comfortable.
Our elder tester (female) was wearing size 9-10. At 5 feet tall she found the trousers to be a little on the short side - which did reduce the over-trousers' effectiveness a little as the trousers underneath were below the bottom of the over-trousers. She also felt that the crotch was a little low and that overall the over-trousers felt a little baggy.
The Regatta Packaway waterproof trousers are a good buy for reliable protection in wet weather but do check the length. Based on the experience of our testers, the cut may mean that they are a better fit for little boys than for their sisters.
