In-use Test:
The Regatta Blister Protection socks are a two layer, shorter length walking sock.
I wore them on their own in three season walking boots and I must admit I found the padding in them to be a little minimal. However, apart from that they were comfortable and stayed well in place. And after several days' out in them, I can certainly say that I haven't experienced any blistering or 'hot-spots'. They have also washed very well.
A little short in length, the Regatta Blister Protection socks are best suited for wear with lower-cut walking boots. I'd also prefer socks with more padding for longer days over rockier terrain. If you suffer from blisters, they are certainly worthwhile considering for spring/summer walking- but make sure your walking boots also fit properly.
