In-use Test:

The material used in the Craghoppers Odessa holf-zip fleece is nicely soft to the touch and has a good level of wind resistance. Overall the fleece is very comfortable - the fit was true to size and there is fine freedom of movement around the shoulder area.

The collar is a comfortable height and the front, smooth-running half-zip goes all the way to the top. Unfortunately there is no flap behind the zip which did reduce the warmth a little particularly in wind. Opening and closing the front zip are the only way of regulating your temperature as the sleeves don't have cuff fastenings nor is there an adjuster at the bottom of the fleece.

The two hand warmer pockets are zipped and a good size. However, it's difficult to get at them when wearing a belted back-pack.

The Odessa has washed very well and - so far - without any pilling.

Buying Advice:

The Craghoppers Odessa holf-zip is a warm, light-weight, good looking fleece - great for low level walking and other lower energy activities also perfect for general leisure wear.
