In-use Test:
The Karrimor Airspace 25 is a good looking 25 litre daypack with good front access to the main compartment. There's also an additional front pocket just big enough for an OS map, hat and gloves together with two mesh pockets at the side plus one walking pole loop and retainer. It's also hydration system compatible.
All the zips were easily operated even with gloved hands.
Most importantly - it's really very comfortable to wear. The straps and hip belt are perfectly adequately padded for light loads and I thought it felt nicely stable with either a partial or a full load.
What's particularly impressive about the Airspace, though, is the back system. It's designed so that there is really only minimal contact with your body - the air circulation is excellent so reducing the build up of perspiration.
I've only been using the Airspace for a short while so can't really comment on its durability. However, the material does appear to be reasonably robust.
The Karrimor Airspace 25 is a great little daypack for summer walking. You may need a slightly bigger size (25+5 or 30) to more easily accommodate the gear you need for a day's walking in winter.
